The Ugliest Baby In Human History

I’ve put my foot in it by having a friend’s new-born officially recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records as The Ugliest Baby In Human History.
I thought she would be overjoyed when I presented her with the new edition, which contains a full colour photograph of the little beast above a caption that reads: “Believe it or not, this child is human!” After all, everyone likes to think that their child is an achiever in one way or another. But instead of delighted gratitude, she slumped in her chair and started sobbing.
It wasn’t the reaction I’d prepared for, but I took the hint and quickly hid the joke ‘Exorcism voucher’ I’d prepared as a little extra.
She left shortly thereafter, although not before throwing a few choice swear words at me and sticking her foot through my sub-woofer. That pissed me off a bit. I mean you can go too far sometimes.
